Reviving Clip-on hair extensions?

I have clip on hair extensions but they've become really rough and straw-ish.

Almost like hay, the top part is still smooth and silky but the ends are horrible, like crispy.

The seller told me it was human hair but I'm not sure they were telling the truth.

Soo

Anyone know how to revive clip-on hair or make it less frizzy and dead?

use a deep conditioner on them. if it is human hair the conditioner should work.

Probably was human hair but it doesn't sound like it was Remy weft. If the hair isn't Remy (meaning the roots and ends are kept together) it's going to tangle A LOT! I say try and wash it and condition it like you would do your own hair. Then maybe using a flat iron to try and straighten it but I don't think they'll ever look nice and pretty like at first again.

The chances are it is real human hair and the ends have split. All you need to do is use straightners and a heat protector.

Maybe give them a deep condition to revitalise them
