I would recommend getting them done i have them and they are great i already have long hair but wanted it longer and they look just like my hair, i went to my hairdresser it was quiet expensive but you can find cheaper places just shop around. even try eBay and buy there hair yourself and take it to a hair dresser they should be able to do it for you. good luck

Depending on where you live you can buy cheap extensions at a hair store. If you dont want to spend a lot of money you will probably be buying horse hair or synthetic. The expensive hair is made out of human hair... If styled correctly/nicely either should look good.

I would suggest trying a snap in kind that you can put in and remove easily. Google Jessica Simpson hair extensions and you will see the product she is the spokesperson for.
